Listed building
This early 19th century house retains its proportions and historic character with features remaining internally and externally. Two-storey, five-bay house, set back from road. 20th century dwellings attached to east.
Features of interest in the interior are the wide hall with stair in open well with mahogany turned balusters; and six-panel doors on ground and first floors.
Notes and references
- ↑ Descriptions of the house do not give any clue to how it was given the name meaning 'round chimney'
- ↑ Jean was probably born in St Brelade in 1767, the son of Jean and Marthe, nee Le Cornu, but we have not been able to fit this couple into any of our family trees. The couple had five children in St Peter, Jean (1792- ), Thomas (1794- ), Philippe (1797- ), Susanne (1800- ) and Nicolas (1805- )
