• Frank Helier Lawrence (1893-1915) , illegitimate son of Sarah Lawrence and Sir Thomas Chapman, Second Lieutenant, Gloucester Regiment, killed in action. He was the only one of Sarah Lawrence's five sons to be born in Jersey, and his birth appears to be his only connection with the island
