Historic Environment Record entry

Listed building

A mid-19th century Jersey farm group with earlier origins, retaining some original interior and exterior features and integrity as a group.

Main house, three-bay, two-storey; two-bay, two-storey cottage wing to the west. Two two-storey freestanding farm buildings form a courtyard at the rear. Evidence of blocked courtyard entrance.

Farm building on east side has slate roof, cement rendered, of little historic significance. 19th century house is two rooms wide, single pile with central passage. Open well staircase up to attic with round mahogany swan neck balustrade, turned balusters and newel post. Ground floor: one fireplace has been changed, the other boarded up. All first floor fireplaces have been boarded up. Reportedly a granite fireplace survives in the adjoining cottage.
