Rare and innovative example of 1920s house of hybrid styles, contrasting one wing in Arts and Crafts, in traditional materials and style, with another wing which heralds features and materials of Modern Movement style. Many external features survive.
Designed by architect Roy Blampied for the Le Quesne family. Large detached house, two storeys. Pitched and hipped green glazed pantile roof on east wing, flat roof on west cross wing with featured entablature forming projecting canopy.
