This is an unusual survival of an early 18th century single storey cottage, retaining external historic character, sitting well in the landscape. Single storey, six bay. Pantile roof with stone chimneys, with thatch dripstones at each gable. Walls rendered. Datestone . Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.

  1. This stone is not included in the Datestone Register nor recorded elsewhere. It should represent Edouard or Elie Vaudin or Vardon but we have not been able to find any corresponding marriage record
