This mid-18th century, five-bay Jersey granite house retains its historic proportions, its irregular bays, and character with features externally and internally. It contributes to the rural setting.

Date of 1755 over front door. Interior woodwork of that date or slightly later. Entrance to the main room has a door in wo sections.

Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.

St Mary Treasury

Described in the 1983 parish treasury as a 'simple 18th century house with a very pleasing grey stone facade, retaining much of its original internal woodwork, doors and partitions.'

The treasury names the house Le Potiron de Bas.
