The main house has 18th century, and possibly earlier, origins - the building shown on the Richmond Map of 1795. It appears to have been re-fronted and altered in the 19th century. The 1913 inscription above the door likely dates further works.
The bakehouse is not shown on the Richmond Map, but the style of the stonework suggests an early date. Former baker's shop - the bakehouse damaged by fire in 1967 - extended in the early 21st century.
Two-storey, four-bay house with single-storey east wing and detached bakehouse parallel to south. Main house has pitched slate roof with brick chimneys.
