Historic Environment Record entry

Not a listed building, but included in HER website because of its architectural merit.

House in Modern Style, 1947/8. Two-storey, asymmetrical composition characterised by geometric shapes with flat rendered walls, flat roof, large expanses of glass with corner window and porthole window. Extension at first floor level.

Originally built as the farm manager’s house for Les Maltieres.

The original form of the house has been altered through the addition of a corner room replacing a balcony on the first floor (an original external window is evident within the bedroom) and a small extension at the rear.
