Listed building
Although much developed since its original use as a warehouse in 1835, it retains its character as such and is, therefore, a significant example of its kind. The conversion to commercial premises has been done sympathetically, retaining original external fabric and continuing its contribution to the streetscape in its scale and presence on the corner.
Built as Le Gallais warehouse in 1835. Converted to bank premises in 1973.
Commercial building. four-storey, six bays to east, three round corner and three bays to south. Roof hipped slate. West elevation has parapet curving around corner containing fourth floor with granite coping with curling moulding to south end. South slope has three box dormers and tile hung lift tower. Walls rubble with chiselled, cut granite dressings
