Listed building

Mid-19th century house which retains its historic character. An individual house with well defined proportions making a notable contribution to the streetscape.

Two-storey, three-bay with basement. Ashlar effect stucco with banded rustication on basement and rusticated lintels over the windows. Front elevation: Slate roof behind a high parapet, cement rendered chimney and two modern dormers. String course separates parapet. All windows double glazed timber sashes. Door is four-panel timber with the top two glazed, overlight, all stained glass. Console brackets and cornice above. Stone steps up to door with iron railings. Rendered boundary wall with granite copings and iron railings and gate.
