Touzel: Three Touzel sisters were living here in 1941 - Daisy (1886- ) Maud Amelia (1877- ) and Violet Elsie Touzel (1884- ). The house had previously been owned by their father, painter and decorator Thomas Charles Touzel (1850- ), who left it in his 1922 will to Maud Amelia. He died in 1939. We have not been able to fit Thomas into any of our Touzel trees. He was born in St Helier, the son of another Thomas, and Esther, of St Clement
