Listed building

A mid-late 19th century house which retains its historic character. Well proportioned frontage that is different from others in the street.

Mid-terrace, set back. Three-bay, two-storey with basement. Front elevation: Slate roof with small dormer. Stucco, ashlar effect with rusticated lintels. First floor two-pane timber sash windows. Ground floor eight-pane casement window flanked by narrower four-pane casements on either side. Stone steps lead up to door. Door is timber four-panel, top two glazed, with side lights and overlight consisting of seven arched segments with coloured glass. Steps down to basement. Rendered boundary wall, granite copings and iron railings which have been shortened.
