Listed building

A row of early 19th century shops, with an unusual entrance to No 7 and attractive shop fronts, which contribute to the streetscape.

Shown on the Le Gros map 1834. Originally four separate properties Nos 7, 7a, 9 and 11. Now combined as restaurant.

Variety of roof pitches set back behind uniform parapet to street. Front elevation, walls rendered with lined ashlar and keystone effect. Traditional style shop fronts, some with pilasters. Entrance to No 7 7 has original six-panel timber door with side lights and arched fanlight over.
