This late Victorian landmark corner building is a finely articulated, decorated and crafted building with a grand presence in the streetscape.

Late 19th century. Originally built as a piano showroom with practice rooms above.

Corner building. Three-storey, two-bay to Bath Street, four-bay to Belmont Road, and corner entrance bay. Slate mansard roof with two pedimented full dormers on north and west faces. Walls banded, rusticated render with detailed Italianate decoration; pilasters defining bays and framing openings, moulded string course between first and second floor, projecting keystones and cornice and balustraded parapet. First and second floor windows are timber, double casements with overlights, original chamfered frames. Ground floor has arched openings with keystones of rustic heads.
