A substantial town centre property with circa 1800 origins, which retains its essential form and massing and contributes to the streetscape.

The Jersey Magazine, October 1810 page 480, shows a building on this site as constructed within past 16 years. Building shown on 1834 Le Gros map.

Three storeys, five bays. Pantile roof set back behind parapet. Brick end stack with Fareham ware slip pots. Facade rendered in lined ashlar effect, with string course below parapet and imitation stepped voussoirs and keystone on windows. Cast iron hopper head on right.
