- Alexandre: The family gave the property its previous name. Francois Alexandre, shipping magnate, and founder of the New York shipping firm Francis Alexandre and Sons was born here in 1809. He was the grandson of Jean Alexandre and Marie, nee Aubin.
- Owned by the Alexandre family until 1914, the property was sold by the children of Jean Alexandre to Edouard Le Gresley, whose family owned it until 1970. Shortly after the house was used for a short period as a care home known as Alexandre Home for the Aged, before being converted back into private accommodation in the 1990s, during which time the property acquired its current name, Peirson House.

- ↑ The couple married in 1744 and there is some concern about the interpretation of a stone dated over 50 years later. However, the stone has been correctly read and there is no other matching marriage record
