- Ramié: Charles Francois Ramié (1788-1860), former Draper, shipowner and extensive property owner, lived here in his latter years with his wife, Anne Le Brocq (1797-1876).
- Le Maistre: Francois Le Maistre bought the house and gardens, which were inherited by his daughter, Marie Ann, wife of George Gruchy. Their son, Advocate George Le Maistre Gruchy (1869-1940), Captain RJA, inherited it.
- Gruchy: Elizabeth Mary Gruchy, née Glasspool, widow of George Le Maistre Gruchy, was living here when she made her will in 1956. She and her husband died childless. Their Gruchy heirs were nieces.
- Gallichan: In 1941 Helier Alfred Gallichan (1873- ) was living here with his second wife Henrietta Violet, née Goding (1887- ) and his sister Julia Elizabeth Ruff (1871- )

A prominent and distinguished mid-19th century Classical villa retaining original features and contributing to streetscape character in an important corner location.
Detached corner property, raised and set back from the road. Two-storey plus basement, three-bay, with set back bay to the north.
Ground floor windows are tall French windows. A veranda supported by Doric columns the length of the elevation. New boundary wall due to road widening.
