Historic farm group with 18th century origins. The five-bay house, wing and outbuildings in parallel forms a cohesive group which contributes to the rural setting. It retains its historic proportions and many features.

A building on this site is shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.

The house dates from the mid-18th century with west wing being added 1829. The pigsties are considered to date from 1796.
