Stafford Hotel

Stafford Hotel

A highly popular hotel before and after the Second World War, the Stafford in Kensington Place was well known for organising activities for its guests, including sports days on the beach in St Brelade's Bay and St Ouen's Bay

Demolition proposal
The 72-room hotel was still open in 2021. It was earmarked as part of the site for the proposed extension of the General Hospital, but when those plans fell through, it continued to trade. Early in 2021, however, plans were submitted to demolish the hotel, and the adjoining Hotel Revere, to provide a site for a six-storey development of over 100 flats
