Estienne La Cloche son of Thomelin La Cloche reports to the Court an Ouïe de Paroisse [publication of a transaction] which took place on 01/03/1555 in St Saviour's Cemetery between Hyou Le Bastard of the first party and Estienne La Cloche of the second party. Records that Estienne La Cloche through Blanche, his wife, daughter of Clement Le Bastard claimed retrait lignager [repossession by right of a relative] to 4 quartiers 4½ cabots of wheat of rente which Hyou Le Bastard had sold to Philippe Dirvault. Hyou Le Bastard assigns the same sum of rente to Estienne La Cloche. Reference: L/C/131/A2/12 Date: 1 May 1557

Copy dated 8/01/1575 of an extract from the Cour d'Héritage between Kathrine widow of Pierres La Cloche and procureur of their children, Thomasse wife of Pierres Faultras and Estienne La Cloche eldest son of Thomelin La Cloche relating an agreement made between Estienne La Cloche and Pierres La Cloche and Pierres Faultras on behalf of Thomasse his wife on the héritages of Thomelin La Cloche.
