Talk:Descendants of George Gale (Originating From Wiltshire)

I am descended from Richard and Martha Gale, Clyffe Pypard and have studied this lineage. I believe Robert born 1807 married a Mary Humphries in 1832 and the descendancy from George is incorrect. The father of Albert John Gale 1857 was a John Gale born 1835 Newbury according to the 1841 census with father Robert Gale born est1802 - 1809 and mother Elizabeth Burbidge married 1834 Salisbury. Robert probably lived 1803-1873 Newbury. He may have been born to a Richard Gale and Elizabeth in 1801 Wallingford Berks. I hope this helps and regret not being related to the Island Gales.
