I think the above is an error and that Rachel is more than likely to (99.99% sure) have married the earlier Elie (shown here as a bother) bapt 1724.

Elie 1735 is shown as the son of Elie and Jeanne LE CERSON/SERSON. I believe should read RICHARDSON. The marriage to Jeanne took place in 1734, St Brelade.
