4 Jean Gruchy (1713-1740) (Tr) [45]

re note 45 as mentioned above. It certainly was possible for Jean to have married Rachel GIFFARD. I found 3 issue. Rachel bapt 1734 has Francois GRUCHY named as Godfather - possibly Uncle? Francois, the 3rd child, bapt 1737 had Mathieu GRUCHY and Esther, his wife (paternal Uncle and Aunt?). I am unable to find a burial for Jean in 1740, however I also had that date sourced to IGI/Ancestral File! Having said all that there is no mention in the partage of any issue for Jean and I have been unable to find burials of infants.
