Mathieu Le Gallais at gen 7 did not marry Esther de Carteret (a marriage of 1611 that can be found for a different Mathieu on the tree "descendants of Edmond Le Gallais"). Mathieu's wife Katherine Martel was still alive when he died (contract appointing guardian of 1618 shows Katherine, widow, and she also appears as godmother of grandson Mathieu in 1630).
The tree has now been updated - Ed
