re: 5 Hyou Hooper (1649-1717) m (1681, St S) Marie Le Tubelin Not disputing this marriage but there is a a Will dated 1717 for Hugh HOOPER, mentions siblings exact match to children of Pierre HOUPER/HOOPER et Jeanne AMY. I cannot find a burial for Marie. He was married to Marguerite HOUPER three years prior to his death and some months before Will was written. There may be detail I have not picked up on in Will - but appears both marriages were childless.

The marriage between Clement HOOPER and Elizabeth AMY states she was widow of Jean MATTINGLEY. Her marriage to Jean MATTINGLEY states she was the widow of Philippe PAYN - making her approx period of birth 1590. Therefore Clement and Elizabeth are unlikely to have had children. I believe that the marriage may well have been Clement HOOPER to Elizabeth MATTINGLEY in 1650.
