Talk:Jersey emigrants to Canada S

Concerning "William Shaw. From Jersey to Cap-des-Rosiers and Seal Rock about 1844. Married to Harriett Lockett of Guernsey."

It's my 3rd great grand father and Harriet also. I've seen names also like "William Henry Shaw and Harriet Le HU uchet or Le Hochet.

Some stories says they are not from Guernesey or Jersey, like some ruse for escaping something. William is probably from Scotland.

I would like to find more information on those two if possible.
