The placing of the 2nd wife of John de Carteret, Mary Le Couteur at generation 11 seemed wrong on this tree, as her children appeared at the same generation (12) as those of his grandchildren (through James). This can be most simply reconciled if it is assumed that 2nd wife of John de Carteret, Mary Le Couteur should read 2nd wife of James de Carteret, Mary Le Couteur. This has now been confirmed and further updated from Marriage records. Courtiergm 09:44, 19 February 2015 (GMT)
