The Priaulx family of St Ouen, Jersey

Descendants of Jean Priaulx

This tree was added to the site in 2015 and considerably expanded following a review in 2019. It was reviewed again by Mike Bisson, who added parish details in 2025

Although later generations of this tree were living in St Ouen, and there were members of the Priaulx family in that parish from at least the 1650s, we are reasonably confident with the link now shown from an extra four generations of Jean Priaulx in St Brelade to later St Ouen generations which were the original content of this tree. However, there are suggestions in online trees that the Jean who married Jenny Le Blancq (the parents of Jean, who was baptised in St Brelade in 1822) was not the son of Jean and Elizabeth Bosdet. We have not been able to find a marriage record for Jean and Jenny, although we have found their son's baptism record.

An earlier connection between the Priaulx and Le Blancq families by marriage in St Ouen in 1731 suggests that there is a link back to that parish to Jean and Jenny Le Blancq
