- Noel: In 1941 Edwin George Noel (1865- ) and his wife Lydia Susan, nee Pallot (1867- ) were living here. He bought the property in May 1920. Records show that he held a number of jobs during his life: at the time of his marriage to Lydia Pallot in 1890 he was a mariner, and when their son Ulric was born in 1904, a sailor. In the 1921 Census, he was described as an out of work rigger. In 1941, aged 75, had not retired, and was working as a garage hand.

This mid-late 19th century house retains its historic proportions and some external features. It is significant as part of the terrace, opposite to the church, on the road leading into the village. Mid terrace. Two-storey, three-bay.
