Turner family members who served in the Great War



Private Charles Joseph Turner of the Quebec Regiment was killed in action in Pas de Calais in 1917 at the age of 26. He was born in Jersey and had been living in Guernsey with his parents before emigrating to Canada


Four members of the family lost their lives while serving in the armed forces and a further 20 saw active service in World War 1.
