A fine example of an early 18th century detached townhouse, dated 1715, retaining original historic features and fabric.

Historical associations with the Robin family, cod merchants. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795. Raulin Robin and his second wife, Marie de Carteret, whose initials can be seen above the central window on the first floor, owned this house in 1715. They were the grandparents of Charles Robin, the cod merchant who lived at St Magloire.

The tiny window on the right lights a small cupboard, believed to have been a wig powdering cupboard.

Detached house. two storeys plus attic and basement, five bays. Pantile roof. Stone copings. Squared and random granite. Granite lintels and quoins. Granite end stacks with dripstones.

West wall has fireplace from former attached dwelling on ground floor.
