Vauxhall Street
There is some dispute as to whether this street in the centre of St Helier should be called Vauxhall or Vauxhall Street. It is even shown as Vauxhall Place in mid-19th century census returns.

This 1824 advert in the Chronique de Jersey indicates that there was a house called Vauxhall, on the corner with New Street (Chemin Neuf), which probably gave its name to the road running from there to David Place
