Visiting actors, musicians and other artistes

Many famous actors and actresses, musicians, opera singers, ballet dancers, pop groups and other entertainers have appeared in Jersey over the years.
Among the most prominent can be included Jersey's own Lillie Langtry and Seymour Hicks, who found fame as actors beyond the island's shores, and such giants of the world of music as Yehudi Menuhin, Benjamin Britten, Kiri te Kanawa, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
Individual articles will be progressively added to Jerripedia on the Jersey performances of many of the greatest stars, but in the meantime the gallery below gives an indication of the variety and standing of some of the visiting performers.
- The Beatles in Jersey, 1963, four concerts by the Fab Four
- The Rolling Stones in Jersey, 1964, youths barred from concert for not wearing ties
