Historic farm group, with main house of early origins - circa 16th century - retaining historic character, and good quality outbuildings. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
This unusual three-bay building appears early, at least 16th century, despite having been rendered sometime in the 19th century. Its early date can be assessed by the thickness of the now rendered chimneys and the random stone construction of the unrendered west gable-end wall.
Two-storey, three-bay house with abutting east outbuilding; south barn and rear stables/outbuildings. Slate roof with substantial rendered chimneystacks. Unpainted rendered finish.
Central doorway with shallow arched head, and a half-glazed matching timber door. Un-rendered west gable with random stone construction. Abutting east outbuilding: single storey, slate roof. Pierre perdu mortar circa 1750. The rear outbuildings are of a high quality stone construction.
