- IMR MGD 1755 - for Jean Marett ( -1763) and Marie Gaudin ( -1771) who married in St Saviour on 9 May. This was originally a gatepost to a nearby field, and is now used as a bench in the back garden of Croix es Mottes. It may not have any previous association with the property
Historic Environment Record entry
This does not appear to be a listed building, which is very unusual for a property of this age and history.
There is no entry for the house itself, but one for the three datestones
Old Jersey Houses
A brief entry in Volume 2 records the three datestones and suggests that the house was built at 'about' the time of the 1863 stone
Notes and references
- ↑ An unusual stone with Jean represented by the traditional 'I' but Jeanne by the more modern 'J'
