Descendants of Abraham Le Huquet



This tree was added to the site in 2012 and reviewed in 2019. Further details were added for the descendants of Jean and Susanne Godfray at generation 6 in 2020.

A further review in 2021 resulted in the addition of a new descendant line from Thomas (1738- ) at gen 5

In 2025 Mike Bisson reviewed all the Le Huquet trees and with considerable overlap in this tree with three others, attempted to combine all available detail into a single tree.

But, a major problem remains to be resolved. Jean Le Huquet (1769- ), shown here at generation 6 married to Susanne Godfray, is shown in the three remaining Abraham trees with different marriages and descents.

In common with the majority of our trees, this descendancy has been subject to regular review by site editors and checked against Jersey church records. Trees including French ancestry have also been checked as far as possible against French primary records. It is not always possible to carry out such checks on sections of trees with United Kingdom and/or colonial content
