  4. ↑ Doctor. Emigrated to Canada. There is some doubt that all the children listed belong to Charles and Tryphosa. An earlier version of the tree showed Charles previously married to Elizabeth de Carteret in London and showed her as the mother of his first two children, but this has been disproved. He may have had an earlier marriage in London to a different Elizabeth, but they appear not to have had children together
