Descendants of Henry Vautier
This Vautier family mainly lived at Val de la Mare, St Ouen, and in St Peter. This tree was submitted in 2021 by a Vautier descendant and has been checked against parish registers. The tree as submitted showed Jacques at generation 3 as the son of Henry, but we believe, given the age differences and information from other sources, that there was probably an intervening generation as shown.
The tree was reviewed twice in 2022 by Mike Bisson, who added a descendant line from Francois Jean (1799- ) at generation 7. This branch of the family carried on the seafaring traditions and appears to have moved back and forth between Jersey and Canada
