This tree, compiled in 2012 from online sources derived from Charles Langton`s research, held at La Société Jersiaise Lord Coutanche Library and St Saviour baptismal and marriage registers, has since been revised on a number of occasions.

The extensive Hubert family tree at Ancestry shows the father of Edouard Hubert (with the estimated date of birth of 1562) as Jean Hubert and correctly gives two earlier generations. This estimated date of birth has subsequently been the cause of confusion as another Edouard was baptised on 10 August 1562, son of Michel Hubert. The new tree has been the subject of several reviews, and the addition of substantial new information in the latest, by Mike Bisson in 2024. This tree is no longer being updated and will be reviewed in conjunction with the newer tree, once work there is complete.

The Edouard Hubert mentioned above and to the right as baptised in 1562, son of a Michel Hubert, is now thought to be a different individual.
