Descendants of William Male



This tree was added to the site in 2018 by Jerripedia editor Mike Bisson. A review in 2020 resulted in the addition of two earlier generations as well as considerable details for the early generations of the family in Somerset and further descendant lines in Jersey


The Male family's butcher's shop was on the inner road between Bay View and First Tower, in St Helier

Trees including French ancestry have also been checked as far as possible against French primary records.   2. ↑ Coachman. James and his first wife Elizabeth moved from Somerset to Jersey with their five surviving children in 1843, and had another five children in the island. Elizabeth died in October 1870 and James married for a second time two months later. That marriage only lasted three years until Susan Mallet's death, and the following year James married for a third time to widow Eliza Blampied, with whom he had a daughter
