La Collette Gardens
La Collette Gardens

One of Jersey's best kept secrets, the public garden on the seafront at the Havre des Pas side of La Collette is described as 'a Mediterranean feel terraced garden with cafe and toilet facilities'
In the lee of La Collette Barracks, now home to the island's Territorial Army unit, the gardens are perfectly situated to house a collection of sub-tropical plants and lawns where it is possible to relax in peace and quiet but still within walking distance of the town centre. Unfortunately the gardens are not planted and maintained to the same high standard that they were in their heyday between the two world wars, but they are still a popular and peaceful haven from the stresses of daily town life.
