- Bisson: A Bisson family is listed at Les Ruettes, St Lawrence in 1941. They could have been living here; they could equally have been living at one of the other Les Ruettes a short distance away. They were Edward Bisson (1901- ), his wife Dorothy, nee du Feu (1898- ) and their daughters Enid Dorothy (1928- ), Daphne Amy (1929- ) and Beryl Gladys

An early 18th century farm house retaining original features and character in a picturesque valley setting. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795. Date of 1731 on kneeler. Five-bay, two-storey house with five-bay farm building on the east. Small brick late 19th century bakehouse on the west. Pig sty on the east end.

- ↑ Within a short distance of each other on a narrow lane in St Lawrence called La Ruette are three properties called Les Ruettes, and one called La Ruette. We think there is some confusion on the HER website between two of the three Les Ruettes, and that the photographs shown for each are actually of the same property. However, we have included them as shown there while we investigate further. We believe that all three houses are strictly known as Les Ruettes, but we have listed one as Les Ruettes Farm and another as Les Ruettes 2 to help distinguish between them
