Listed building
A prominent, well-preserved late 19th century corner shop in an important location opposite the covered market, in scale with adjacent row, retaining original historic details.
Corner building, four-storey, one bay to east elevation, one corner bay and four bays on Waterloo Sreet. Roof obscured behind parapet. Wall brick with string course at gutter level. Window brick lintels have prominent keystones.
Notes and references

After the Occupation the cafe on the corner with Waterlook Street changed from Jersey Cafe to Beresford Cafe. This photograph was taken in 1968
