I dont think the Charles Blampied b. 1757 of Jean Blampied and Marie Machon married Rachel Blampied, but rather I think he married Marie Picot.

I think the Charles Blampied that married Rachel Blampied was the Son of Michel Blampied and Elizabeth Picot. The Rachel Blampied may have been the daughter of Jean Blampied and Marie Machon

This page formerly listed Jean Blampied born 1843 as marrying Jane E Noel and having several children. That was incorrect. John Blampied (1843-1914) is now shown as marrying Elizabeth Amy in 1870 and Ada Marguerite Le Brun in 1908.
