Talk:Descendants of Pierre Poingdestre
Looked at Generations 10/11 Mge and issue of Damian, something seems right, but worth noting this here permanently until resolved one way or the other. I found two St S baptisms, both issue of Damian POINGDESTRE with Damian FALLE and Guillemine sa mere as GPs. The only fit was Damian FALLE fs Jean fs Jean, mother's name unknown. This led to me finding:
Partage contract in 1630 between siblings: Pierre and Jean - 1st and 2nd sons of the late Damian. Damyan and Thomasse are underage issue - Jean POINGDESTRE fs Michel is tut. Susanne is deceased and Jean LARBALESTIER is tut. of issue. No mge found, believe he is her widower. Guillemine wife of Jean FALLE fs Jean and lastly Marie POINGDESTRE md to Laurens MARETT. (have yet to resolve some questions),
Baptism of Damian
Note 16 - ↑ Godfather: Jean Herault, Bailiff, who lived nearby at Maufant Manor. In the 1668 Extente, Damian Poingdestre of St Saviour, "son of John, son of Damian, son of Michel" owed the Crown an annual payment of 1 cabot of wheat. The St S Register states baptism on 05 Oct 1617 - Damian fs Damian POINGDESTRE - GP - Jean Herault, Bailiff. Is this thought be an error in Register?
