  34. ↑ CH (October 1566): Guillaume Le Marinel and Guillaume Romeril: In the event of Le Marinel being in default in his proposed transaction involving Le Court land, to which that family had rights, he would be seized of the second part of the inheritance of Collette [Le Court], previously wife of John Romeril. This case was ongoing in 1568. As Le Marinel was not stated to be acting on behalf of his wife, he was evidently acting in his own right. He was probably the first cousin of Guillaume Romeril, with a deceased Romeril mother. Jacques Le Court, Collette's brother, also features in various court hearings, notably in one at the Cour d`Héritage in 1538, sued by John Romeril, in right of his wife, for her share of the inheritance
